Hi, I’m Emily,

I am a buyer and industry relations expert.

I have seven years of experience supporting my clients by communicating innovative and measurable solutions and building million-dollar program budgets. As a result of my background in the corporate incentive and engagement industry, I look at every project as an occasion for both thoughtful design and efficient execution.

I know myself well and excel most when utilizing my personality traits and skill sets both at home and in a corporate setting. While traveling abroad, I have heard many times that Midwesterners are hard workers with a friendly demeanor. Having been born and raised in small-town Iowa, I believe this sentiment to be both true and advantageous. I have a natural persistence and decisiveness that is incorporated into the workplace (e.g. when my team is meticulously editing a proposal with the end goal of winning new business). 

I am often recognized for my warm, positive, and enthusiastic attitude. Corporately, this has contributed to successful supplier relationships and profitable negotiations on behalf of my clients. 

I am highly extroverted (Big Five Aspect Scale noted on my resume), therefore, I naturally find myself connected to strong communities. Currently, I am involved at my local church, active at my community garden, and participate in a theological reading club. At ITA Group, I was a founding member of the Diversity & Inclusion initiative as well as a Corporate Ambassador for new employees. 

Lastly, I have a passion for sustainable living. I was nominated as team lead for the integration effort, Certified Sustainable Event Standards, and am a member of Eco - Group at ITA Group.
